The bill SB21-173 was scheduled to be heard in the Business Affairs & Labor committee at 1:30 pm tomorrow.
However, it has been pushed to next week. We hope this is a result of the pressure created by CLLC members and industry partners. The legislators are getting A LOT of communication from frustrated landlords; keep it up!
For those of you who were planning to testify, please stay the course with us in testimony next week on Thursday, May 13 @ 1:30 PM.
Few things you must know:
We need to keep up the pressure. So please keep calling and e-mailing these lawmakers! The CLLC will be doing ANOTHER Call to Action early next week.
We need more people to testify in person or remotely and if you are interested in testifying but need some help with the process, please reach out to Danielle[at]All-Seasons.com and we can equip you!
If you are giving remote testimony, please do not forget to re-register to testify next week. The updated hearing date/time may not show up until early next week.

Even though the hearing could start as early as 1:30, it is probably going to be the second bill on the docket, and the hearing could go into the late afternoon or evening.
Block out your time appropriately.
They are only giving two minutes per person for testimony. Structure your testimony appropriately.
Thank you for helping us support our industry!
